πŸ“š Creating Playlists

The Create Playlists task creates playlists on the working channel and can add promoted and additional videos to them.

βš™οΈ How to Enable​

  1. In the YouTube-Poster Configuration tab, select Create Playlists.
  2. In the Create Playlists tab, choose the playlist source.
  3. Set the order and number of playlists.
  4. Enable video adding if needed.
  5. Configure delays.

πŸ“₯ Playlist Source​

Available sources:

  • Folder β€” prepared data is taken from the Playlists folder.
  • File β€” links or data are taken from a file.
  • Channel Playlists β€” the template uses playlists from the specified channel as the source.

Processing order can be:

  • Sequential;
  • Random;
  • Reverse.

The Number of playlists field sets how many playlists should be created in one run.

🎯 Promoted Videos​

The Add promoted videos block controls videos that must be added to the created playlists.

Settings:

  • Add videos to playlist β€” enables promoted video adding.
  • Input data β€” file or channel videos.
  • Link taking mode β€” remove or do not remove.
  • Video adding order β€” sequential or random.
  • Refresh video list β€” refreshes the list when videos run out.
  • Number of videos β€” how many promoted videos to add to a playlist.

In the current template package, these links use Playlists/2_Target_Videos_Urls.txt.

🎞️ Additional Videos​

The Add other videos block lets you add additional videos to a playlist.

It uses the same types of settings: enable, link taking mode, order, list refreshing, and video count.

In the current template package, the file is Playlists/3_Other_Videos_Urls.txt.

⏱️ Delays​

You can enable a common delay and configure separate ranges:

  • after creating a playlist;
  • after adding one video;
  • after adding all promoted videos;
  • after adding all additional videos.

The range is specified in seconds, for example:

5-10

βœ… Before Running​

  • Check the data in the Playlists folder.
  • Make sure video and playlist limits match the number of prepared rows.
  • If Remove mode is used, keep a backup of important lists.
  • Enable Multi-Channel Mode when working with several channels.
