πŸ“² Channel SMS Verification

The Channel SMS Verification task confirms a channel using a virtual phone number. In the current settings, the supported service is SMS Activate.

Important: SMS verification is not an officially supported YouTube-Manager feature. The option exists in the template, but it has its own caveats and limitations, which may depend on current YouTube requirements, phone number availability, and SMS service behavior. Before using this feature in production runs, check the current workflow and known limitations with the developer.

βš™οΈ How to Enable

  1. In the YouTube-Manager Configuration tab, select Channel SMS Verification.
  2. Open the Channel SMS Verification tab.
  3. Choose the SMS receiving service.
  4. Choose the phone number country.
  5. Enter the service API key.
  6. Configure SMS waiting time and retry attempts.

🌍 Phone Number Country

Available countries:

  • Russia;
  • Kazakhstan;
  • Romania;
  • Kyrgyzstan.

Choose a country whose numbers are available in your SMS Activate account and are suitable for YouTube channel verification.

πŸ”‘ SMS Activate API Key

In SMS Activate API Key, enter the API key from your SMS Activate account.

Do not publish your API key: the API key gives access to your SMS Activate balance and operations. Do not send it in support messages, screenshots, or public files without masking it first.

⏱️ Number Request Settings

SMS Waiting Time

The number of seconds the template waits for an SMS code.

Default: 120.

If SMS messages often arrive slowly, increase this value.

Number of SMS Recheck Attempts

How many times the template will query the service while waiting for the SMS code.

Default: 3.

Number Request Attempts After Failure

How many times the template will try to get a new number if the number was not issued or did not work.

Default: 3.

Do Not Reuse the Number for the 2nd SMS

This option prevents the same number from being reused for the second verification.

By default, it is disabled because YouTube allows two channels to be verified with one phone number.

Enable it if you want to use a new number for every verification.
