🧹 Data Deletion

YouTube-Manager can delete videos, playlists, channel metadata, and subscriptions. These features modify channel data, so it is best to run them separately and with clear criteria.

Use deletion carefully: deleting videos, playlists, and channel data may be irreversible. Before running the task, check the selected task, criterion, and field values.

🎞️ Delete Videos

To delete videos, select Delete Videos in the YouTube-Manager Configuration tab, then configure the criterion in the Delete Videos and Playlists tab.

Available criteria:

  • Number of videos β€” delete the specified number of videos from the channel.
  • Number of views β€” delete videos with fewer views than the specified number.
  • Number of comments β€” delete videos with fewer comments than the specified number.
  • Title contains β€” delete videos whose title matches the entered value.
  • Description contains β€” delete videos whose description matches the entered value.
  • Video visibility β€” delete videos with the selected visibility.

Number of Videos

Enter how many videos should be deleted.

For example, 10 means the template will delete up to ten videos from the channel.

Number of Views [Up To]

Enter the upper view-count threshold. The template deletes videos whose view count is below the specified value.

Number of Comments [Up To]

Enter the upper comment-count threshold. The template deletes videos whose comment count is below the specified value.

Title and Description Matching

These fields support regular expressions.

Examples:

test
review|tutorial
.*

The value .* matches any value, so use it only when you really want to process all found videos.

Video Visibility

Videos can be deleted by visibility:

  • Public;
  • Unlisted;
  • Private;
  • Draft.

πŸ“š Delete Playlists

To delete playlists, select Delete Playlists and configure the criterion in the Delete Videos and Playlists tab.

Available criteria:

  • Number of playlists β€” delete the specified number of playlists.
  • Number of videos β€” delete playlists that contain fewer videos than the specified number.
  • Title contains β€” delete playlists by text or regular expression in the title.

🧽 Clear Channel Metadata

The Clear Channel Metadata task removes selected channel profile and description elements.

In the Clear Channel Metadata tab, you can enable deletion of:

  • Avatar;
  • Banner;
  • Description;
  • Keywords;
  • Links.

Enable only the items you actually want to clear.

πŸ”• Remove Subscriptions

The Remove Subscriptions task unsubscribes the channel from other channels.

Settings:

  • Number of channels to unsubscribe from β€” how many subscriptions should be removed. 0 means unsubscribe from all channels.
  • Pause β€” enables a delay after each unsubscribe action.
  • Pause in seconds [from - to] β€” delay range, for example 1-2.

Use a pause for bulk unsubscribing: if you need to remove many subscriptions, enable the pause. This makes the run smoother and helps keep account activity under control.
